Australian stocks hit a fresh multi-month high early Wednesday, with the S&P/ASX 200 index up 0.3% at 4,303.70. The index closed Tuesday at a level not seen since May 14. Miners were advancing in early trading, with Newcrest Mining Ltd. up 1.3% and Fortescue Metals Group Ltd. up 1.7%. Earnings were also in focus, with Computershare Ltd. gaining 2.7% after updating investors but property group Stockland Australia falling 4.4%.
