Layoffs At 'Tonight Show' As Leno Takes Pay Cut

NBC Universal is laying off between 20 and 25 staff members from the 'Tonight Show', according to a report in the Los Angeles Times Sunday. The paper said that host Jay Leno volunteered to take a pay cut to save additional job losses, bringing his salary to $20 million a year from $25 million to $30 million.
